School Supplies for 2005-06

Teachers will go over with students any unique requirements for each class. To be prepared at the start of the semester, students will need:

ü All students need notebooks (paper for 3 ring binders) for each class, pens and pencils

ü Religion Classes: All students need a Bible and 3 ring binder. The preferred translation is the New International Version (NIV)

ü Computer Science: notebook

ü Art: 18 x 11 and ½ or 17 x 12 spiral bound sketch pad

ü Physical Education: notebook, shorts and a t-shirt (in dress code) and tennis shoes

ü English Classes: 1 Spiral notebook, (1) 2-pocket folder, red pens

ü History Classes: notebook

ü Math Classes:

o PreAlgebra – calculator, protractor, compass, and ruler

o Algebra – scientific calculator

o Geometry – compass, protractor, ruler, and scientific calculator

o Advanced Algebra, PreCalculus, & Calculus – Texas Instruments Graphing Calculator

§ (TI-83 recommended – these are expensive calculators – MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS ON YOURS)

ü FOR ALL MATH CLASSES – 3 ring binder and notebook paper

ü Science Classes:

o Biology – colored pencils, 1” binder to be designated Biology only

o Chemistry – calculator and notebook

o Physics – calculator and notebook
