As we build a foundation of prayer for our schools, we thank you for your continued commitment to be a Prayer Partner for the Colorado Lutheran High School Association and thank you for being an integral part of this ministry. As we seek to continue to move forward and build up this ministry to our children and the youth and families of our communities, we feel that prayer is a vital key to all that we do, especially as we continue to face growth challenges within our association. As we enter into this Easter time we are reminded once again of the good news of the death and resurrection of Jesus, and the power and victory that belongs to us. We are also reminded of the great privilege and opportunity we have in our schools to proclaim and live out this good news of Easter with students and their families. We need your prayers to keep this ministry strong and in place so that we can take every opportunity God gives to us to proclaim the good news of Jesus love! As we find ourselves in the last months of this school year but also anticipating the coming school year, we have a number of items to pray about. Please lift up the following requests in prayer this month.

Please remember these items in your prayers for the month of April.

• Continue to pray for blessings on the registration process at our Denver and Parker campuses for next year. Pray that any barriers or obstacles that may be in the way of a family sending a child to one of our schools would be removed. Pray for an increase in student enrollment and especially for strong freshman classes. Pray for clarity and wisdom and discernment as we make enrollment projections for next year and determine staffing needs.

• Pray for the Lord’s financial provisions, both short and long term, to meet the needs of our association. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and guidance for our administrators and Board of Directors as we seek to address our challenges, especially for the Board of Directors as they meet on April 10^th. Pray that the Lord will continue to raise up faithful and significant donors for this ministry, and show us any new strategies or ideas for securing the necessary resources we need.

• Pray for seniors and their families as they make plans and decisions about college or post high school employment. Pray for guidance and direction by the Holy Spirit as they make their choices and for God’s peace in that process. Pray for perseverance and focus for the seniors in these final months.

• Pray for protection and safety for all of the spring sport athletes as they compete and travel. Pray that the actions and attitudes of our students on the playing field will give a positive Christian witness and exemplify good sportsmanship.

• Pray for guidance and direction for the administrators and Board of Directors as they work together to formulate a strategic plan for the coming year and beyond. Pray that all of our gifts and abilities will be used to their fullness to accomplish God’s will and purpose in moving the ministries of our schools forward.

• Pray for the faculties and staffs that serve our students and families in our schools. Pray for energy and strength for the final months of the school year, for physical and spiritual protection, and for encouragement to continue to share the love and care of Jesus Christ with their students each day.
